Letting Terms and Conditions
- A deposit of 25% is payable and will confirm your booking. This deposit is not refundable.
- Where a booking is made for two persons in this holiday cottage a discount of 20% will be made providing the period is for 7 consecutive days or more.
- We will hold any telephone booking for 7 days.
- All such provisional bookings will be deemed cancelled unless your signed booking form and full deposit are received within this period.
- The balance of the total rental is due not later than 6 weeks before the commencement of the letting. If booking is less than 6 weeks in advance total rental is payable on booking.
- A cancellation must be notified by the hirers to the owners immediately by telephone and then confirmed in writing by way of first class post. In all cases of cancellation the deposit will be forfeited.
- The owner will endeavour to re-let the accommodation but in the event that this can not be acheived the hirer shall be liable to pay the full balance of the rental due. We advise you take appropriate holiday insurance to cover any cancellation you may have to make.
- The number of persons occupying the property must not exceed the number booked without the express permission of the owners. The owners reserve the right to refuse entry/expel the entire party without refund if this condition is not observed.
- To owners reserve the right to decline accommodation or expel any occupier whose behaviour in their view is detrimental to the property.
- The owners reserve the right to enter the property at any time but will endeavour to do so only when convenient to the occupier except in the event of an emergency.
- The hirer shall keep the accommodation, furniture, fixtures, fitting and effects in or on the premises in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the holiday and shall leave the premises in the same state and general order in which it was found. Breakages will be charged.
- The owners shall be under no liability for any act, neglect or default for any loss, damage, expense, or accident, injury or inconvenience whether to the person(s) or property, which the hirer may sustain during the stay.
- Receipt of a completed booking form implies acceptance of the requirements and conditions listed above.
- The accomodation will be available for occupation from 3.30pm on the day of arrival. The hirer shall vacate the accommodation by 10.00am on the day of departure.
